These plates are not in ideal shape, but what they lack in cosmetic appeal they make up for in character.
Bent, bubbled, cracked, extra-holed, rippled, scraped, sunburnt…these plates have experienced tough weather, tough roads, and tough times. Texas MU 6789 I obtained early on in my collecting and I dubbed it “The Accordion Plate.” The Oregon travel trailer plate is also an early addition and those little clumps of dirt are very well-entrenched; I’ve never wanted to remove them because I think they add a story to an already interesting plate.
